Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association president Douglas Need-ham announced the following staff appointments:

Joyce Reynolds has been promoted to executive vice-president, Government Affairs. In her new role, Reynolds will oversee CRFA’s federal and provincial government affairs, communications and research.

Ron Reaman, formerly CRFA’s vice-president of food supply, has been appointed to the new position of vice-president, federal. Reaman is now responsible for CRFA’s nutrition and fitness and food safety files, as well as federal food supply issues.

Steve Barber has joined CRFA’s Toronto office as vice-president of expositions. A seasoned veteran with years of show management experience, Barber assumes responsibility for CRFA’s four foodservice trade shows:

• ApEx Show (Halifax)
• Alberta Foodservice Show (Oct. 28-29, 2007, Calgary)
• B.C. Foodservice Expo (Jan. 28-29, 2008, Vancouver)
• HostEx/Canadian Food & Beverage Show (March 2-4, 2008, Toronto)

CRFA has also appointed Charlene Delisle as the show manager for the recently acquired Alberta Foodservice Show, taking place in Calgary, Oct. 28-29, 2007.�
