Pizza Pizza executive named chairman of CRFA show advisory committee

Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices
Association, Michael Aronovici, is pleased to announce that Paul Methot
has been appointed Chairman of the 2009 CRFA Show Advisory Committee.

Sept. 9, 2008, Toronto, Ont. – The Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association, Michael Aronovici, is pleased to announce that Paul Methot has been appointed Chairman of the 2009 CRFA Show Advisory Committee.  Methot is Vice President Operations for Pizza Pizza Limited.

 “With 24 years of experience in the foodservice industry, Paul has done business with many of the suppliers who exhibit at the CRFA Show,” says Aronovici.  “He understands the changing dynamics of the foodservice industry and the critical role of the CRFA Show in providing timely solutions to help foodservice operators build their business.”

 The Advisory Committee is made up of 26 CRFA Show exhibitors who provide feedback and guidance to CRFA staff as they plan for the 2009 CRFA Show, March 8 – 10 at the Direct Energy Centre in downtown Toronto.

 Methot, who has been a CRFA Director since 2004 and a member of CRFA’s Supply Management Task Force since 1998, will chair his first meeting of the CRFA Show Advisory Committee on Oct. 8, 2008. 

 “I look forward to working with the advisory committee and CRFA staff to make the 2009 CRFA Show an unqualified success for exhibitors and visitors alike,” says Methot.  “With the rapid rate of change in the foodservice business today, this annual opportunity to showcase the latest food and equipment innovations is more important than ever.”
