Tourism Vancouver launches Dine OutSide festival

Vancouver – Vancouver residents and visitors are being encouraged to patronize restaurant and hospitality businesses and newly expanded patios for the next month as part of Dine OutSide, a summer food and drink celebration launched by Tourism Vancouver in collaboration with community partners.

In addition to expanded patio dining, participating dining establishments will offer either prix fixe menus at $15, $25, $35 or $45 price points, special promotional offers or take-outside and picnic packs for those who want to take in the great urban outdoors. Dine OutSide will run from Aug. 21 to Sept. 21, 2020.

Vancouver is playing up its greenspace and parks where diners can enjoy their meals al fresco and creating temporary pop-up plazas throughout the city.

Hotels will be debuting exclusive rates and experiences making it easy for diners to plan a getaway.

“Dine OutSide is a terrific way to support the city’s exceptional culinary talent and enjoy the benefits of a city immersed in nature – whether that’s enjoying drinks on a patio or taking a picnic to Stanley Park,” Royce Chwin, chief executive officer of Tourism Vancouver.
