July 20, 2011, Toronto – Pizza Pizza is adding Italian sandwiches to its menu.
Customers can choose from four options, including spicy Italian sausage, meatball marinara, all white meat chicken cutlet and veal. Sandwiches are made with a home-style sauce, served on an oven toasted artisan ciabatta bun, and can be topped with Italian marinated peppers.
“Pizza is a traditionally Italian dish, so we’re returning to our roots by offering our take on traditional Italian sandwiches,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer for Pizza Pizza. “Our customers all have unique tastes and preferences and we’re always striving to offer a variety of menu options that appeal to everyone. When our customers speak, we listen.”
The new items will be available at all traditional Pizza Pizza locations across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, and will be available for delivery.
