May 29, 2013, Toronto – Pizza Nova’s 14th annual fundraising event, That’s Amore Pizza for Kids, was a success with over 130 locations raising $76,010 for Variety Village.

The main promo during this one-day event was Pizza Nova’s medium pepperoni pizza for $4.39 plus tax. One dollar from each pizza sold was donated to Variety Village – The Children’s Charity.

On May 22, Pizza Nova’s grand total was presented to Variety Village during the pizzeria’s 50-anniversary celebration at Toronto’s Liberty Grand. "None of what we do would be possible without supporters like Pizza Nova and their annual That's Amore Pizza for Kids Day in support of Variety Village," says Lynda Elmy, Director Communications, Variety Village. "…For 14 years, Pizza Nova has been instrumental in ensuring that Variety Village is able to maintain its commitment to providing programs and services for people with disabilities, by raising over $1.1 million."
