Toronto – Pizza Nova’s 18th annual “That’s Amore Pizza for Kids” day raised $105,007 for Variety Village Children’s Charity, the Ontario pizza chain said in a news release.
On May 9, over 130 Pizza Nova locations served medium pepperoni pizzas for only $4.39, and $1 from every pizza sold was donated to Variety Village.
The following day, company president Domenic Primucci presented Variety Village with the proceeds at a cheque presentation ceremony.
“That’s Amore Pizza for Kids wouldn’t be possible without the thousands of customers who came out on May 9 to help us make a difference,” Primucci said. “With the help of all our supporters, we have raised over $1.4M for Variety Village over the past 18 years.”
