Las Vegas, NV – Organizers of the International Pizza Expo have a Christmas present for Canadians in the form of a special rate for Canadian operators looking to attend the annual convention that celebrates all things pizza.

Pizza Expo takes place March 4-7, 2019. Organizers are expecting 8,000 buyers to at the trade show and convention designed to let the pizzeria industry shop, network and learn.

Exhibitors include suppliers of pizza ingredients and pizza flour, point-of-sales systems, ovens, kitchen equipment, marketing and promotional materials and many other companies providing goods and services to the pizza restaurant industry.

Seminars in 2019 include:
  • Keynote presentation by Chris Bianco, chef and owner of Pizzeria Bianco, Pane Bianco and Tratto, and author of the book Bianco: Pizza, Pasta and Other Food I Like, an illustrated cookbook that illuminates the fundamentals of pizza making and the philosophy behind his cooking.
  • Where I See Pizzerias Fail, presented by Scott Wiener, founder of Scott’s Pizza Tours in New York City. Scott Wiener is in pizzerias daily. He sees the good, the bad and the ugly. Here are the main points of failure he sees from a customer perspective and what operators can do to better serve, impress and retain customers.
  • Staying Current in Technology, presented by Jacque Farrell, co-founder of Farelli’s Pizza:In this session, veteran pizza company leader Jacque Farrell will walk attendees through the systems and practices her company has recently implemented in order to stay ahead of the curve.
