MONTREAL – Redberry Resto Brands Inc. of Longueil, Quebec announced the acquisition of 40 Quebec Pizza Hut restaurants, becoming the province’s Pizza Hut master franchisee. Before the sale took place in September 2005, the 40 restaurants were owned by YUM! Brands Inc.

Redberry Resto Brands Inc. is owned in equal partnership by Christian LeBrun, Robert Laverdure, Andreas Kragaris and Peter Gianopoulos, who say years of experience in Quebec’s restaurant industry have firmly honed their understanding of the province’s distinct market.

“As restaurateurs, we were first to innovate with the bring-your-wine concept over 22 years ago and we intend to bring the same spirit of popular innovation to the Pizza Hut brand today,” claimed Andreas Kragaris.

General manager, Christian Le Brun, explained they will concentrate on both maximizing delivery services, and ensuring their clients experience the same dine-in experience across the province.

Redberry Resto Brands Inc. was established in Quebec in 2005. Among the 40 franchises obtained, 25 of them are located in the greater Montreal area.
