market, Pizza Pizza Limited announced last fall its sponsorship program
with the Montreal Canadiens and initiated the search for top franchise
partners in the province.

Setting the table for its expansion in the Quebec market, Pizza Pizza Limited announced last fall its sponsorship program with the Montreal Canadiens and initiated the search for top franchise partners in the province.

The two strategies are an integral part of the company’s game plan as it prepares to grow its business in Quebec, where Pizza Pizza currently has six traditional restaurants in the Outaouais and Abitibi regions as well as operations in such locations as major university and college campuses, theatres and other venues.

The program with the Canadiens saw Pizza Pizza become one of the team’s official partners and the exclusive pizza vendor at seven concession counters for all events at the Bell Centre, the home of the National Hockey League club.

“The expansion Pizza Pizza is undertaking in Quebec is consistent with the company’s overall growth strategy outlined earlier in the year,” said Daniel Vukovich, COO of Pizza Pizza Limited.

“This includes growth through existing markets, new consumer segments such as the health-conscious consumer, additional day-parts – lunch, for example – as well as other expansion opportunities.”
