April 5, 2011, Tacoma, Wash. – This past weekend, Lucks Food Decorating Company donated pies featuring wrestling-themed Pizza Prints designs to Make-A-Wish children and their families attending the WWE’s WrestleMania.
The WWE and the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted the wishes of 30 children with life-threatening illnesses, all of whom wanted to attend the 27th annual WrestleMania in Atlanta, Ga. Children and their families travelled from Canada, the United States and Australia for this once in a lifetime event.
Andy Sachs, Lucks’ national sales manager, also made the trip. He saw for himself how the special pizzas, featuring edible images of WWE Superstars, helped make the weekend special for everyone involved.
“We brought more smiles to kids and families who were immersed in the festivities in their honour,” said Sachs. “They were celebrating together and nothing said celebration better than their favourite WWE wrestlers’ pictures on pizza.”
