November 1, 2010, Richmond, BC – Throughout the month of November, Boston Pizza guests can support Canadian children and families by purchasing a Boston Pizza Kids Card.
The cards will be sold for a minimum donation of $5.00, with proceeds benefiting the Boston Pizza Foundation. In exchange for their donation, guests will receive a card for five free kids meals.
“For more than 20 years, our guests have helped us raise funds that contribute to the health and well-being of children and families in need,” says Cheryl Treliving, executive director of the Boston Pizza Foundation. “As we head towards the holiday season, we encourage families to think of others by supporting the Boston Pizza Foundation through the purchase of Kids Cards in November.”
Since it’s founding in 1990, the Boston Pizza Foundation has raised more than $10.5 million for charitable organizations across Canada, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Kids Help Phone.
