Groupex discounts DataCandy loyalty cards to members

Toronto – Groupex Canada, a buying group for independent restaurants, is teaming up with DataCandy to offer its gift card and loyalty program services to members at discounted prices.

The idea is to provide independent restaurants greater access to professional customer engagement tools, DataCandy said in a news release.

Groupex, established 30 years ago, has more than 2,700 members and works with suppliers such as Pepsico, Diversey, Canada Bread, Canadian Linen, Gordon Food Service and now DataCandy.

DataCandy develops loyalty and gift card software programs for retailers and restaurants of all sizes.


“Independent restaurants need a way to understand, retain and reward their most loyal customers; size shouldn’t affect their ability to compete and stay profitable,” says Lorne Schwartz, chief executive officer of the loyalty provider.
