Pizzeria goes with online gift cards

December 21, 2009, U.S. – The interactive gift card and incentives company CashStar has partnered with Papa Gino's to allow customers to purchase gift cards online and send them to recipients via email.

 
With 370 restaurants in the pizza and sandwich categories, Papa Gino’s recognized the value of offering a more convenient way for guests to order and send gift cards. Rather than ordering standard plastic cards that need to be mailed to recipients, guests can now personalize gift cards online by selecting a design or uploading their own image, adding a personal message, and selecting the denomination and send date. Cards can be sent immediately or at any future date.
 
In addition, CashStar’s unique offer management platform enables Papa Gino’s to layer promotions onto every gift card transaction. Now, Papa Gino’s can create custom programs, limited-time coupons, and special offers and promotions. Offers can be displayed on the online gift card purchase page to increase conversion, or can be layered onto the card itself.
