Bakery Showcase features big changes, big names

Toronto – The Bakery Showcase 2018 Trade Show and Conference, set for April 29-30 at the International Centre in Toronto, has some big changes for those in the foodservice community involved in making, buying or selling into Canada’s baking market.

The event has been tightened from three days to two, with longer trade show hours, as a way of maximizing the experience for both attendees and exhibitors, said a news release from Paul Hetherington, president and chief executive officer of the Baking Association of Canada, which produces the event.

Some big names will take the conference stage. Pastry chef Anna Olson will share her insights on today’s baking business, entrepreneurship, promotions and channeling your drive to succeed.

Business strategist Tony Chapman will share the secrets of storytelling in the marketing of your business and the role you can play in bringing about your customers desired outcomes.


Visitors can learn about programs on Canada’s changing trade and food regulatory environment, hear from three bakery experts on how they are managing today’s business challenges and network with other suppliers and operators involved in the baking industry.
