Pizza Nova launches pepperoni made without use of antibiotic, hormones

May 25, 2015, Toronto – Pizza Nova is introducing pepperoni made without the use of antibiotics or hormones.

The improved, healthier pepperoni is made following Pizza Nova’s own recipe and with Canadian-raised beef and pork and is a first in the Canadian pizza industry, the southern Ontario chain said in a news release.

“We selected pepperoni to be the first in this category because it’s our most popular topping,” said Pizza Nova president Domenic Primucci in a news release. “We’re also looking at how we can introduce other products across our menu that are made without the use of antibiotics or hormones.”
