World champion pizza spinner to visit Alberta this week

March 12, 2009 – Juan Hermosillo, Canadian-based world champion pizza spinner, will visit Alberta this week as part of a western Canadian tour organized by Pizza 73 and Pizza Pizza.

Juan Hermosillo, Canadian-based world champion pizza spinner, will visit Alberta this week as part of a Western Canadian tour organized by Pizza 73 / Pizza Pizza. Hermosillo will be demonstrating his spinning skills at various locations throughout the week including Pizza 73 outlets in Edmonton, Camrose and Calgary.

Last year, Hermosillo earned two first-place and two second-place finishes at the world's largest pizza championships by performing acrobats and stunts while spinning dough. He is currently training and preparing for the beginning of his  season which starts later this month.

WHAT: Join Juan at special pizza parties for the community that will include various promotions and prizes. In-studio performances are available subject to availability.

ACTIVITIES: Juan Hermosillo has represented Canada at numerous international competitions and will be on hand for live performances showcasing his mesmerizing flair for pizza acrobatics, introducing customers and media to his signature moves and winning routines.
