Un(Think) Awakened Flour hard red wheat, a germinated wheat flour appropriate for making breads, and soft white wheat (for other baking) is ready for commercial use, though company will continue to test internally, evaluating nutritional content, taste and texture.

(Un) Think Awakened Flour uses a completely natural patented process that captures the goodness of the grain, providing all the nutritional and dietary benefits of sprouted wheat, while enhancing the flavour, texture, richness and natural sweetness that are suitable for breads and pastries. It uses 100 per cent of the whole wheat kernel with no added ingredients.

The flours have been developed by Vancouver’s AgriFORCE Growing Systems Ltd., an intellectual property-focused agriculture technology company dedicated to advancing sustainable cultivation and crop processing.

The flour, made in both Soft White Wheat (for baking) and Hard Red Wheat (for bread) is now available for wholesale customers in Canada and the U.S. and AgriFORCE plans to expand sales into the direct-to-consumer market after the summer.
