The magic of TiVo allows you to pause TV long enough to order a
pizza. However, in this age of technology, why should you have to?
You don’t. TiVo just announced
a new feature that allows its subscribers to order Domino’s Pizza
directly from the TV. You can also choose between delivery or pick-up,
but we’re guessing that if you bother to order pizza through your TV,
that decision will be obvious. It even allows you to track delivery
times; does Domino’s still have a 30-minute deal?
“This is the first time in history that the ‘on- demand’ generation
will be able to fully experience couch commerce by ordering pizza
directly through their television set,” said Rob Weisberg, VP of
precision and print marketing at Domino’s. “You’ll see a television ad
for Domino’s and you’ll click ‘I want it’ through your remote. In about
30 minutes, your pizza will show up at your door.”
