Pizza Pizza becomes official pizza of the PWHL

Toronto – Pizza Pizza has become the first exclusive quick-service pizza sponsor of the new Professional Women’s Hockey League for its Canadian operations including the teams in Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa.

The national quick-service pizza brand has long-standing partnerships with the Toronto Maple Leafs, Montreal Canadiens, Winnipeg Jets, and its sister brand Pizza 73 with the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League is a professional ice hockey league in North America made up of six teams in Boston, Minnesota, Montreal, New York, Ottawa and Toronto.

The inaugural PWHL regular-season began on Jan. 1 and includes 72 games through May 5, followed by playoffs.
