Fiazza Fresh Fired pizzeria in Ottawa raising money to support Ukraine

Fiazza Fresh Fired in Ottawa has another charity fundraising event set for April 28, 2022, in support of the Canadian Red Cross for relief efforts in Ukraine.

“We call our charity events ‘Pizza with a Purpose’ and all through out the pandemic we have continued to fundraise for local charities and community groups such as the Boys and Girls Club, Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Quick Start Autism and the Ottawa food bank,” said Andrew Craig, partner in Fiazza, which has four locations in Ottawa.

For most of the pizzeria’s events they teamed up with local chefs and restaurants that were highly affected by lockdowns to help them gain exposure.

This latest event is just Fiazza, Craig said. All pizza sales on April 28 will be donated to the Red Cross. If you’d like to donate money to the cause, there is also a portal open now that Fiazza will continue for as long as they can on their website fiazza.ca.
