May 12, 2009, Toronto – Pizza Nova is helping
raise some dough for Variety – The Children's Charity today.
Today only, Pizza Nova and Variety will
host their 10th Annual That's Amore Pizza for Kids fundraising event with more
stores participating than ever before.
For 10 hours (11:00 am to 9:00 pm),
customers can walk into any of the 120 participating locations across Southern
Ontario and purchase a medium pepperoni pizza for only $3.99. Pizza Nova will
donate $1 from each pizza sold to Variety – The Children's Charity. Variety
Village athletes will be making appearances to thank Pizza Nova customers for
their continued and incredible support.
This year's single-day goal is to raise
over $100,000 to help fund Variety's programs and services for children with special
needs in Ontario, bringing the 10-year fundraising total to over $700,000.
