Toscano Gourmet Pizza unveils the “Art of Food”

October 24, 2008 – TORONTO – Internationally celebrated chalk artist Julian Beever
will be creating his latest 3D trompe  l'oeil masterpiece, entitled
"The Art of Food", at the RioCan Yonge Eglinton Square to help mark the
launch of Toscano Gourmet Pizza, October 22- 25.

Internationally celebrated chalk artist Julian Beever will be creating his latest 3D trompe  l'oeil masterpiece, entitled "The Art of Food", at the RioCan Yonge Eglinton Square to help mark the launch of Toscano Gourmet Pizza, October 22- 25.

Beever's unparalleled chalk drawings on pavements around the world have created international attention. Examples of his process, and his art, have created an internet phenomenon and elicited millions of viewings. Using a unique 'anamorphic' technique created over several days, the final design is an elaborate and detailed three dimensional chalk "master piece".

The creation of "The Art of Food" is part of a series of events across Canada to celebrate the launch of Toscano Gourmet Pizza, a new brand of frozen pizza that delivers the ultimate authentic Italian taste experience. Samples of the Toscano brand will be cooked on site during the event.
