Saturday.

Feb. 12, 2013, Halifax – Police in Halifax are investigating after the owner of a pizza business was injured during an armed robbery early Saturday.

Police say three masked males armed with handguns entered the Kit Kat Pizza on Gottingen Street around 12:20 a.m. and demanded cash.

When the owner refused, one of the males struck him in the head with the butt of his handgun.

The males then grabbed several cartons of cigarettes and fled the store on foot.

The owner was taken to hospital with a cut on his head.

Police say the suspects wore black ski masks and one was believed to be about 14-years-old.
