Barrie, Ont. – Ontario pizzeria chain Topper’s Pizza will add six stores to its current 35 locations, conduct an extensive customer survey and move its call centre to a standalone location to accommodate further growth.

In the next three months, the company will open new locations in Thunder Bay, Sudbury, Espanola and Kirkland Lake, Ont., and is introducing its first Greater Toronto Area location in Vaughan in November.

The Northern Ontario brand said in a news release it has committed an entire year focused on establishing the groundwork and forecasting for the next phase of its business. Changes include a brand update, the hiring of a new Director of Franchise Development and a survey of more than 8,000 customers.

The recent Thunder Bay location, opened Oct. 17, exceeded all sales and production expectations as well as company records, in their first week, the company said.
