Aug. 13, 2014, Toronto – The Toronto Garlic Festival has
made finding Ontario-grown garlic easier by creating The Garlic Map.
After the summer harvest, the map shows hundreds of
locations – among them farmers markets, farm stores and grocery stores – where
customers can buy Ontario-grown garlic. The map is updated throughout the year.

In the map search box users can enter their postal code or address to find the nearest
seller.
The Toronto Garlic Festival takes place on Sunday, Sept. 21,
2014, at Evergreen Brick Works. Here buyers can stock up on rare heirloom
varieties while tasting garlic dishes prepared by local chefs. Details are at

The Garlic Map is supported by Carrot Cache, an organization
that funds worker co-operatives as well as groups who are interested in local,
organic agriculture and community food strategies.
