La Pizza Week platform showcases pizza across Canada

La Pizza Week, an interactive, online-led festival, celebrates some of the best pizza in Canada from May 1 to May 14.

Pizzerias can sign up for the service, which aims to help restaurant businesses increase their sales and awareness.

Restaurants across the country are asked to create a special pizza for the week of La Pizza Week. Participants engage with the festival by visiting or ordering from participating restaurants and trying delicious pizzas, sharing their experiences on social media, and voting using a dedicated website.

Continuing the focus on high-quality fresh pizza in Canada, the Canadian Pizza Chef of the Year Competition at Bakery Showcase in Vancouver May 14-15. Pizzerias, restaurants and bakeries in the Vancouver area and across Canada will compete to win a trip to Las Vegas Pizza Expo, a cover story in Canadian Pizza magazine and cash prizes.
