Italian-Canadian entrepreneurs to be honoured at ICCO virtual event

Toronto – The Italian Chamber of Commerce of Ontario will celebrate winners of its Pentola d’Oro awards during a webinar that will showcase a custom menu by Michelin Star Chef Cristina Bowerman.

ICCO Canada Pentola d’Oro – Under The Stars will take place Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 6 p.m. (Toronto time) via Zoom.

Five recipients will be honoured during the event:

• Pentola d’Oro Award – Gabriele Torchetti, Lady York Foods
• Italy-Canada Award – Chef Massimo Capra
• Lifetime Achievement Award – Joe Pulla, Johnvince Foods
• Innovative Entrepreneur Award – Salvatore Mele, Oretta Restaurant
• Italian Wine Award – Halpern Enterprises

Special recognition will be given to Giacomo Erba, Anna Erba and Andrea Copreni for their contribution to the hospitality sector in Toronto and in Milan, Italy, through their various investments and restaurant ventures, including Stelvio and Buono Restaurants in Toronto.
