Milan – For the third time, renowned pastry chef Iginio Massari will appear at HostMilano, set for Oct. 13-17, 2023, in Milan.
The 43rd edition will showcase hotel, restaurant and café supply chains: professional catering, bakery, pizza, pasta, coffee, tea, bar, coffee machines, vending, ice cream confectionery, furniture, technology and tableware.
Events not to be missed in the area dedicated to pastry and gelato are the championships organized by the International Federation of Pastry, Gelateria and Chocolate (FIPGC).
Known by many in the industry as the Maestro, Chef Massari will participate as ambassador of haute patisserie with the third edition of HostMilano, themed “Luxury Pastry around the world.”
“It is thanks to events such as HostMilano that it will be possible to discover the big trends by meeting professionals from all over the world, who will talk about their experiences, confirming this event as the most complete in the pastry sector,” Massari said in a news release. “Internationality remains a fundamental value for the fair which intends to stage the broadest possible overview of the new market dynamics and what the future business will be, alongside a varied proposal of high-level equipment which helps the pastry chef to obtain better results, speed up preparations and save energy.
“In the last 30 years, innovation and technology have revolutionized the sector, from coffee-making machines and gelato makers to cream cookers and chocolate tempering machines, but also in terms of the ingredients themselves; for example, flour has changed beyond recognition.”
HostMilano will be held at fieramilano from Oct. 13-17, 2023. Associated trade show Tuttofood will be held at fieramilano May 8-11, 2023.
