November 30, 2011, Toronto – Georg Riedel will bring his new glassware and wine tasting seminar to the 2012 CRFA Show.

Riedel, the global head of Riedel Crystal, will demonstrate the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of wines. Participants will taste and compare three of the most popular grape varietals in different Riedel grape-specific glass shapes.

Riedel Crystal, a 250-year-old global leader in varietal-specific crystal glassware, is known as the first in history to recognize that the taste of wine is affected by the shape of the glass from which it is consumed. Riedel Crystal is recognized as the unrivalled "wine friendly" glassware brand to complement specific wines and spirits.

The Riedel seminar is a paid session for hospitality industry delegates at the CRFA Show, with limited seating. Those interested must include this seminar when they register online at www.crfashow.ca. All attendees will be given tasting sets and a special price on Riedel restaurant lines. The session will be sponsored in part by Hamilton Store Fixtures Ltd. and Chefblock.com.
