Variety of par-baked pizza crusts help save on labour costs
By Canadian Pizza
Products New Products parbaked crustDreamcrust has a line of par-baked pizza crusts available to restaurants, pizzerias and bakery-cafés.
Based in Toronto, cofounder Eden Hazan said the company works with local restaurants, bars, hotels and other neighbouring businesses who use them as a cost-effective, easy way to add gourmet pizza to their menu.
“There is zero need for any machinery or skilled labour,” Hazan said. “Simply pull out a crust, add sauce, cheese and toppings, bake for three to five minutes and you have a gourmet pizza.”
The ready-to-bake crusts are available in wheat-flour and keto-friendly options. Both types of crusts are hand stretched and stoned baked in Toronto.
The company also offers frozen dough balls (regular, Neapolitan and keto-friendly) that they will customize these to your liking from anywhere between 70 grams to 500-plus grams per dough ball. Other product lines include frozen pizzas (both regular and keto-friendly) as well as private-label opportunities.
