At the last in-person event and competition, chef Roger Ma of Boulevard Kitchen and Oyster Bar, took home the gold medal, not just at Vancouver’s Kitchen Party event in the fall of 2019, but also at the grand finale competition in Ottawa back in January 2020.

More than $17 million has been raised over the past 16 years.

“In 2022, we are proud to support three beneficiaries that celebrate and elevate Canadian culture in sport, music and food through youth-focused grassroots initiatives,” said Karen Blair, co-founder of Canada’s Great Kitchen Party. “This year we are once again supporting MusiCounts – a national charity which ensures that music education is inclusive, sustainable and accessible for youth across Canada, Spirit North- an organization that uses land and water-based activities to improve the health and well-being of Indigenous youth, empowering them to be unstoppable in sport, school and life, and Fresh Roots a Vancouver-based charity that works to transform urban spaces to create thriving neighbourhood gathering places for learning, sharing, and connecting through food.

The Vancouver event will include a silent auction and chance to purchase Canada’s Great Kitchen Party’s “Live Auction” trips to exciting international destinations such as Verona, Italy, and Malaga, Spain.
