January 15, 2010, Belleville, Ont. – In an appeal to movie renters, Topper’s Pizza has set up a trial remote order kiosk at the Jumbo Video store in Belleville, Ont.

With this new service, customers  can go into the video store, place their pizza order at the kiosk, choose their movie and then drive across the street to pick up their pizza.

“At Topper’s Pizza we are always trying to think of innovative ways to better serve our customers,” says Topper’s president Keith Toppazzini. “Not only does the kiosk add a greater degree of convenience, but it also saves the customer money too. Right now customers can save $2.75 off any large pizza they order at the kiosk, and because they are picking it up themselves, they’ll also save on the delivery fee.”

Ann Chatterton, manager of Topper’s Pizza in Belleville, says the feedback from those who have used the kiosk has been positive. “Customers find it really convenient. They come in and place their order first and by the time they choose and pay for their movies their pizza is ready.” Keith Storey, owner of the Jumbo Video agrees. “People who come into the store think it’s a great idea.”
