Nov. 6, 2012, Barrie, Ont. – Topper’s Franchise Company Inc. lent its support to the annual Halloween parade at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, which gave patients who are spending the holiday in hospital a chance to have a bit of ghoulish fun of their own.

Organized by SickKids’ Child Life Department, the event ran from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Halloween and was sponsored by donors, each one responsible for setting up a trick or treat station for patients, their siblings and family members to visit. The Toppazzinis – aka Batman and Catwoman – handed out treat bags filled with crayons, a colouring page, note pad and cool sunglasses. Children who weren't well enough to join the parade had treats specially delivered to their hospital rooms.

The invitation to participate in the Halloween Parade was extended to Topper’s Pizza as part of the company’s newly established partnership with SickKids Foundation in support of children’s health.
