Toronto – The School of Italian Pizza is offering a two-day Roman pizza making course on Sunday, June 12, and Monday, June 13.

Originating in Rome, and also known as “pizza in the pan,” Roman pizza is thin and crisp with a hydration of 85 to 100 per cent. The course will cover how to create a thin yet soft crust that’s light and airy,.

The interactive course will be taught by an Italian pizza master, the S.O.I.P. said in a press release

The school also will run a two-day Traditional pizza making course on Monday, May 16, and Tuesday, May 17, to be taught by pizza master Danilo Lupo.

The following day, Wednesday, May 18, there will be a Neapolitan pizza making course. Students will learn from pizza master Pasquale Ponticiello how to use a wood-burning oven to cook the pizza.

Registration for the courses may be completed at the School of Italian Pizza website.
