Toronto – Sandwich chain Subway is now serving pizza subs on a new ciabatta bread with marinara sauce and cheese baked on top.
For a limited time at participating restaurants, Subway Canada will serve pizza subs that feature a layer of marinara sauce and cheese baked onto a new ciabatta bread. The subs are baked fresh, in-house daily, Subway said in a news release.
Three pizza subs are on the menu: Deluxe, Pepperoni and Veggie. The Deluxe Pizza Sub features pepperoni, green peppers, onions, banana peppers, marinara, a blend of two cheeses and a new sausage crumble. The Pepperoni Pizza Sub is topped with pepperoni and a blend of two cheeses. The Veggie Pizza Sub features spinach, tomatoes, green peppers and red onions.
They are available in six-inch and 12-inch sizes.
