Steam Whistle puts new twist on Pure Pilsner with Lemon Shandy

Photo courtesy Steam Whistle Brewing Just in time for summer, the Lemon Shandy, a crowd favourite at the Steam Whistle Biergarten in Toronto, is available in a can to Ontario customers.
A refreshing mix of Steam Whistle Craft Brewing Company’s Pure Pilsner and lemonade, Steam Whistle Lemon Shandy is a tart twist on a classic favourite.
“We were making and serving Shandy at the Steam Whistle Biergarten, and it was incredibly popular,” said Tim McLaughlin, vice-president of marketing at Steam Whistle. “So we decided to put it in a can and make it available across Ontario.”
At 2.5 per cent ABV, Steam Whistle Lemon Shandy is sweeter than a typical beer that pairs well with hot summer days, patios, back decks and beaches with friends and family.
Steam Whistle Shandy is now available at LCBO outlets across Ontario.
