Square Register POS helps Canadian pizzerias manage business from COVID-safe distance

Square has debuted an POS system called Square Register that lets pizzerias and restaurants manage aspects of their business from a COVID-safe distance: curbside pick-up, home delivery, courier/app pick-ups, online shopping, in-person shopping, appointments.

Square Register is an in-person, point-of-sale system that lets pizzerias have integrated commerce within minutes, straight out of the box, and works well with Square’s growing ecosystem of business tools.

The system features two touchscreens, one for the buyer and one for the seller, which can be placed up to two metres apart for in-person buying.

Square Register allows operators to manage their in-person and online business from one place, including inventory, invoicing, point-of-sale, employee management and deliveries, enabling businesses to grow as they open new locations and integrate new revenue streams.
