Squadle for Pizza is a digital platform built specifically for the complex procedures that each pizza operation faces, from managing fresh ingredients across the food prep line to streamlining delivery logistics.
“Every day, pizza operators take uncooked food — from cheese to tomatoes, meat and dough — and turn it into the pizzas we all love and enjoy,” said Charlie Piper, president and chief executive officer at Squadle, Inc., the workflow automation company that manufactures the software and hardware. Squadle specializes in helping multi-unit operators simplify complex operations and streamline food safety.
Squadle for Pizza brings operational compliance, food waste tracking, equipment calibration and temperature management to pizza brands and their franchisees.
The customizable platform includes several features digital workflows that enable pizza brands to fully digitize their paper-based manager playbooks, checklists, and compliance forms to ensure higher completion rates, leading to more efficient operations and better customer experiences. Digital checklists offer clear visibility into task completion and compliance for both managers and team members.
Operational compliance checklists include pre-shift checks, equipment calibrations, shift notes, and more. Specifically for pizza brands, it also automates checking out car toppers and recording mileage on delivery vehicles. Managers can also monitor compliance and completion rates through an online dashboard, mobile app, real-time alerts, and automated daily emails.
Other features include automating temperature and speed of ovens, remote temperature monitoring and cash control.
