March 25, 2010, U.S. – The foodservice technology maker MenuMax has partnered with AFS Technologies to provide a new recipe management and food cost software.

The software integrates AFS’s Profile database.

“Joining forces with AFS will allow us to better serve our customers in the foodservice marketplace,” said Arthur Burkhart, MenuMax vice president of sales and marketing.

“With Profile, foodservice operators can easily access standardized industry data to identify branded product preferences for their menu offerings. Profile fills the information gap allowing users to match products to distributor order guides, which are used for food costing within our application."

Once foodservice operators' recipes are put into MenuMax, they can be organized by ingredients for food cost calculation, analyzed for nutritional composition and inserted in menus for profit margin management.

MenuMax offers its software with a one month free trial period. After the trial, subscribers will pay $29.95 US monthly or $299 US per year.
