Scheduling software lets staff bid on shifts

7shifts scheduling software and mobile app are designed to help restaurants manage and evaluate the performance of shift workers.

Restaurant managers use it to assign employees to shifts and approve requests; while staff use it to view their upcoming shifts and submit requests for manager approval, the company said in a press release.

Features include unlimited text message and email notifications, support for multiple locations, labour costs forecasting and a manager logbook. The software provides daily and weekly labour calculations and allows staff to bid on a shift.

Employees can check their schedule and submit requests from anywhere with the 7shifts mobile app. In turn, managers can manage shift changes, approve time off requests and more.


By signing up to 7shifts, managers and employees have access to the company’s free mobile app.
