Sales of MOD Pizza’s limited-edition ‘Squad Cake’ will support staff in times of crisis

MOD Pizza has created a limited-edition “Squad Cake” to support the franchise’s team members during times of crisis through its employee relief fund.

The Squad Cake (named for the team name “MOD Squad”) is a cola-flavoured yellow cake filled with sweet cherry cream filling, covered in a bright pink coating and finished with sugared sprinkles.

To date, MOD Super Fast Pizza Holdings has provided over $1.6 million in emergency grants to its staff in need through its “Bridge Fund.” The Bridge Fund provides grants to Squad members struggling with an unexpected crisis. It is fuelled by voluntary paycheck contributions from MOD employees, store events, company contributions and donations. MOD Squad members can confidentially apply for grants at any time during their employment.

The Squad Cake is available at all 500-plus MOD locations in the U.S. and Canada.
