With governments across the country now preparing to ease emergency measures and allow on-premise dining to resume, Restaurants Canada has compiled a preliminary COVID-19 Reopening Best Practices document for foodservice operators.
Informed by lessons learned from those operating during the pandemic so far, this document provides practices that establishments can consider implementing to comply with government guidance in the areas of:
- Physical Distancing
- Cleaning and Sanitation
- Health and Personal Hygiene
Restaurants Canada has shared this document with provincial governments and will adapt its contents to align with guidance specific to each jurisdiction, if necessary.
