Prolon showcases colourful tableware and high-temp technology

Prolon, a commercial melamine tableware company, recently showcased its new colours and heat-resistant Micropure technology at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago in May.
The new line of Prolon tableware features updated colours and and additional capabilities, said a press release from ThermoServ, which acquired Prolon last fall. Prolon, like ThermoServ, is a U.S. manufacturer that operates its moulding and decorating operations in Dallas, Texas.
It serves the commercial foodservice areas of restaurant supply, hospitality, military and institutional businesses.
Prolon also debuted its newest technology, a proprietary heat-resistant material trademarked Micropure. Micropure is designed with high-temperature restaurant needs in mind. It can withstand ovens up to 400 F and microwave heat.
