July 6, 2012, Glace Bay, N.S. – Police in Cape Breton are investigating a suspicious fire at a local pizza shop.

The Cape Breton Regional Police Service says officers responded to the fire at Scotty's Pizza on Commercial Street in Glace Bay around 5 a.m. Friday.

They say the extent of the damage is not known, but police believe it is considerable.

In a news release, police said a man in his 20s was arrested near the scene of the fire, but they do not know yet whether the arrest is related to the blaze.

Officers continue to investigate.
