Toronto – Automated pizza vending machine PizzaForno recently opened seven new locations in Canada and is working on an app that will allow customers to order pizza directly from their phones.

Now open are two new locations in Ottawa, and locations in Orr Lake, Cookstown, Little Current, Toronto’s King Street East, which doubles as the brand’s international headquarters, and Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada in Toronto.

The newly relocated headquarters is complete with its “24/7 Pizza Patio,” embedded into the side of the company’s office building.

It also has grown to five units in Michigan.

PizzaForno’s sales continue to build on the 400 per cent growth experienced last year, the company said in a news release.

“Our efficient business model makes it manageable for multi-unit licensees to break into new markets and serve a wider audience quicker with less overhead,” said William Moyer, co-founder with Les Tomlin and CEO.

The menu of pizzas is prepared every day at the local pizza topping operation, then delivered and placed into PizzaForno units.

The brand is currently working on an app that will allow pizza customers to order pizza directly from their phones. The order is then sent to the nearest PizzaForno oven location for a nearly touchless experience. The app is currently in the testing phase but will be available to consumers this fall.
