June 20, 2011, Toronto – Pizza Pizza launched four new menu items featuring the unmistakably bold, smoky and spicy
flavour of chipotle smoked jalapeno peppers.
The newest additions to the Pizza Pizza menu include Chipotle Pulled Pork Pizza, Chipotle Chicken Pizza, Chipotle Steak Pizza and Chipotle Crispy Wings. For a limited
time, the new offerings will be available at all traditional Pizza Pizza
locations – 371 restaurants spread across Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and
Saskatchewan.
“You can say Pizza Pizza’s been happily seduced by the tasty
flavour spicy-hot Mexican chilli,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer of
Pizza Pizza in a news release. “It’s a light-hearted, but accurate way of putting it. The reality
is we’ve never launched four items all at once that are based on one main
flavour.”
