February 6, 2012, Toronto – Cupid’s arrow has struck Pizza Pizza locations across the country, casting a love spell on the traditional pizza.
The pizza chain is introducing the cheesiest Valentine’s Day present ever – a heart-shaped pizza perfect for sharing with that special someone.
From Feb. 6 to 20, Pizza Pizza will offer a Valentine’s veggie delight pizza for $9.99 at all traditional locations in Canada. The specialty pizza consists of Roma tomatoes, green peppers and 100 per cent mozzarella cheese on a heart-shaped crust, equivalent in size to a traditional medium pizza.
“Our team at Pizza Pizza takes Valentine’s Day to heart,” said Pat Finelli, chief marketing officer for Pizza Pizza. “Sharing a special meal is an important part of this occasion, and we’re excited to be able to help with Valentine’s plans across the country.”
The Valentine’s veggie delight pizza will be a part of the Pizza Pizza menu for a limited time, joining other new, but permanent, menu items including buffalo chicken pizza, buffalo chicken wings, poutine and chili. New menu items are available at traditional Pizza Pizza locations in Ontario, Quebec, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
