Pizza University, one of the country's leading centres for culinary exploration in the quick-service restaurant
sector, is the catalyst behind two new offerings recently added to Pizza Pizza's expansive menu. At a time when Canadians are asking for more value and
affordable options from their local restaurant chains, Pizza Pizza is introducing a larger-than-average, 10-inch panzerrotti and crispy, bone-in
chicken.

"The timing could not be better," said Pat Finelli, Chief Marketing
Officer at Pizza Pizza. "We've been working on these two new items for close
to two years. Offering them now, when customers are watching their wallets,
really helps assert our positioning as a great place for variety, flavour and
options at a fraction of the cost of other restaurant chains."

The new panzerotti – available only in restaurant – is priced at $5 and
is made with spring water dough, extra virgin olive oil and mozzarella cheese.
It is cooked in trans-fat free canola oil and, for an additional charge, can be customized with an assortment of toppings offered by Pizza Pizza.

Pizza Pizza's new chicken offering is inspired by a relationship that has caused mouths to salivate for years: pizza and wings. With the addition of
full-size, bone-in chicken, Pizza Pizza now offers three different chicken options including wings and boneless bites.

"Our wings and chicken bites have been strong performers" explained Mr. Finelli. "The new bone-in chicken comes in white or dark meat and can be
ordered in boxes of four, six or eight pieces, making it ideal for large groups, families, special events or simply to satisfy a large hunger."
