July 18, 2013, Montreal – Pizza Pizza is gearing up for six restaurant openings in the Greater Montreal Area, scheduled to be open by the end of summer.
The first of the new Montreal locations opened in late June and early
July in the Verdun, Plateau-Mont-Royal and Laval communities with a
fourth opening later this month in Ahuntsic-Cartierville. LaSalle will
welcome its first Pizza Pizza restaurant in August, and
Hochelaga-Maisonneuve in September. These six new outlets will bring the total of Pizza
Pizza restaurants to 19 in Montreal, totalling 26 in Quebec.
“Establishing
a solid foundation in Montreal is a priority for us,” said Pat Finelli, marketing officer for Pizza Pizza. “We’re progressing in a
deliberate and sustained way, which has been very well received by the
communities we serve and the franchisees with whom we’ve partnered.
We’re feeling right at home in Montreal and we’re definitely optimistic
about continued success.”
The restaurants will offer Pizza Pizza’s complete menu with options that include classic and gourmet pizzas, chicken
wings, boneless bites, Italian sandwiches, pasta, and salads. On July 27, the company hosted a pizza party at all Montreal locations to thank new and existing customers.
