Pizza Pizza and Lightlife launch plant-based chicken menu items in Canada

News Business and OperationsPizza Pizza has added Lightlife Plant-Based Chick’n Sandwich and Plant-Based Chick’n Bites to its menu to appeal to customers looking for plant-based options.
The new menu items are available for walk-in and delivery at more than 400 of the chain’s restaurants. They include Plant-Based Chick’n Sandwich, which is available in either Classic or Spicy and topped with pickles, vegan mayonnaise on a toasted bun. Plant-Based Chick’n Bites are available in variety pack of 10 or 20, and the chain’s plant-based dipping sauces, which include Texas BBQ, Sweet Chili Thai, Buffalo and Mild.
A combo box comes with 16 Chick’n Bites, and a choice of two more items – such as french fries, potato wedges, onion rings or sweet potato fries – and two dipping sauces.
Lightlife first introduced its Plant-Based Chicken Tenders and Fillets in May.
